How Las Vegas Finds handles personal information, with no ads or tracking cookies, and your rights under California, Nevada and other US laws.
Overview
Las Vegas Finds (lasvegasfinds.com) has no advertising of any kind, Google AdSense included, and uses no tracking cookies. We keep personal information to a minimum and never sell it.
Information involved
Visits: technical request data such as IP address, browser and page, used to deliver and protect the site. Emails: your address and what you write. Business accounts: the login email, listing changes and, with a paid plan, billing records.
Cookies, statistics and bot checks
No cookies are placed while you browse the rankings. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts traffic without cookies. In “For businesses”, a single session cookie keeps owners logged in, and Cloudflare Turnstile filters automated form submissions.
Service providers
Cloudflare provides hosting, security, analytics and email. Stripe processes subscription payments and holds card details itself. OpenFreeMap supplies map tiles directly to your browser. Google Maps powers the business search when owners request a listing.
Retention
Logs are kept briefly, emails for as long as they are useful, owner accounts while they are active and billing records for the legally required period.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA and its CPRA amendments let you know, correct and delete your personal information, refuse its sale or sharing and restrict use of sensitive personal information. We neither sell nor share personal information nor use sensitive information, and exercising your rights won’t affect your experience here.
Nevada and other states
Nevada law (NRS 603A) lets residents tell a website not to sell their covered information; we don’t sell it, but you are welcome to send the request anyway. Several other states, Oregon, Connecticut and Montana among them, grant access, correction and deletion rights by law, and we honor those rights for everyone. Email info@lasvegasfinds.com and you will hear back within 45 days.
Children
Las Vegas Finds is not designed for children under 13 and doesn’t knowingly collect their data.
